With a few days to go, some more iPhone 2 rumors and pics
I’ll be honest - I’ve been rather hesitant to talk about any rumors for the next version of the iPhone simply because I can’t imagine the next version of the iPhone being all that interesting except for the addition of 3G support (and the rumored GPS functionality). Yes the iPhone will also be getting a software update and yes - third party applications are coming to the platform finally but let’s face it - this next version will not be anywhere near as groundbreaking as the first iPhone. It just can’t be.
Now having said all of that, I did think this posting over at CrunchGear was certainly interesting enough to talk about here at Krunker. They received some pics from a tipster and based on these pics, CrunchGear came up with some ideas..
First off, if you believe these pics, the iPhone will be available in black and in Product (RED). OK.. I can believe that.
Based on the profile shot - the new iPhone has much more of a sloped edge than a rounded edge in the current model.
The picture seems to imply there will be video chat support with the new iPhone. Hmm.. that’d be a nice feature to see on the phone. Does this mean we can finally record videos too?
CrunchGear is theorizing that Apple might very well launch iChat for Windows (like they did for Safari). Hm..
