Sony Walkman players revealed at IFA

Sony wants the Walkman players to stay alive and thus they launched three players at the IFA. First is the S series which includes NWZ-S630F/S730F media players. Sony touts these players as format-friendly which support various audio and video formats. The player has a 2-inch QVGA screen, iTunes support for file management and comes with 8 preloaded music videos from Chris Brown, Sandi Thom and The Ting Tings. 3-way noise cancelling technology also makes an entry but it is limited to S730F model. SensMe channels are something new in Walkman DAPs which automatically generates a suggestive playlist according to the speed, mood and rhythm of the songs played. The player’s estimated playback time is 40 hours for audio and 10 hours for video

The E430F is pretty identical S630 and belongs to the same series which was unveiled in New Zealand sometime back. Last are the DAPs, NWZ-B130/B130F (supports FM Radio). A basic audio player fulfilling one’s desire to own a Walkman device. Playback time stands around 16 hours.
