Sony phasing out 52 inch BRAVIA XBR10 Series
The folks at Sony Insider are reporting that the super-thin 51 inch Sony BRAVIA XBR10 LCD HDTV is being discontinued here in the U.S. According to their sources at SonyStyle, the XBR10 was supposedly a “limited production model” – even though it was never really billed as such. With the 46 inch XBR10 on sale during the current holiday season, it’s safe to assume Sony is clearing out inventory paving the road for upcoming BRAVIA models in Feb of 2010. Hey maybe you’ll be able to find a model. A quick check at Pricegrabber.com shows the model is indeed hard to find although Best Buy still has it for a very high price of $4999.98.
