Sony introduces DSC-T700 and DSC-T77 Cyber-Shot models
Guess it’s time for new digital cameras! Sony announced two new Cyber-shot models today - the DSC-T700 and the DSC-T77 - both of which offer “intelligent” shooting functions.
The DSC-T77 features the following:
- Carl Zeiss lens with 4x optical zoom and Optical SteadyShot image stabilization
- thinnest model yet from Sony measuring less than 5/8th of an inch
- 3 inch 16×9 touch panel LCD
- Updated intelligent scene recognition technology
- Smile Shutter and face detection technology with child and adult priority
- Support for up to ISO 3200
- Eleven scene modes
- Anti-blink function in portrait mode
- In-camera image management
The DSC-T700 features the following:
- Includes all features of the above T77
- 4GB of internal memory - designed to make the T700 a portable photo album
- 3.5 inch wide touch panel Xtra Fine LCD panel with 210 pixel per inch resolution
- Support for Memory Stick cards
- Thin profile - slightly more than 5/8 of an inch thick
The DSC-T77 will be available in September for around $300. Color choices include brown, green, pink, black and silver. The DSC-T700 will also be available in September with a price of around $400 dollars. Color choices will include red, champagne gold, pink, dark gray and silver.
