Sony introduces Cyber-Shot DSC-T300
Sony is also adding a new T-series ultra-compact digital camera in the form of the new Cyber-Shot DSC-T300. The T300 comes with feature such as:
- Sony’s new intelligent scene recognition (iSCN) technology which analyzes shooting conditions and automatically selects optimal settings
- Advanced iSCN mode will take two shots - one with user’s settings and one with optimized settings. If the user’s settings are better then the second photo is not taken
- 16:9, 3.5 inch touch screen Clear Photo LCD Plus LCD screen
- Carl Zeiss 5x optical zoom lens
- Super SteadyShot image stabilization
- High sensitivity settings up to ISO3200
- Bionz Processing Engine
- Updated face detection engine - differentiate between children and adults
- Semi-manual focus support
- D-range optimizer
- Support for Memory StickDuo and Memory Stick PRO Duo
The new DSC-T300 effectively replaces the older DSC-T200 model. The T300 will be available in red, black, and silver. You’ll see it in March for $400.
