Sharp unveils PC-NJ70A Mebius netbook

Our hopes weren’t really high when Sharp revealed its intention to launch a netbook. But here they are, and with their PC-NJ70A Mebius netbook, I think they are going to start a new trend. It does have the usual netbook-ish specs like 10.1-inch screen, N270 1.6GHz processor, 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM and all but the cool thing here is that it integrates a 4-inch 854X480 resolution LCD that doubles up as a mouse trackpad and a secondary screen. We have seen multi-touch trackpads but a screen mouse is definitely the first in the netbook category. Asus, Acer and company, when you coming with such thing eh?
Anyways, this Mebius netbook will start retailing from May in Japan at a street price of JPY 80,000 (USD 815).
