SanDisk intros slotMusic microSD cards

SanDisk, the inventor of microSD cards has decided to use the format to explore new regions other than data storage. They have unveiled slotMusic 1GB microSD cards which hold high quality (up to 320kbps bitrate), DRM-free MP3 music from publishers like EMI Music, SONY BMG, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group. Users can play the music by just inserting the card into any microSD card enabled device or with a USB sleeve if you’re playing on a PC or a laptop.
SanDisk will sell these cards in US at Best Buy and Wal-Mart before the holiday season kicks off. And just in case you’re wondering about the reusability of the card, then the answer is positive. Users can add in their own content.
