Samsung to display Q1 PMP at IFA

It’s a Korean PMP war on the German turf for the companies. Right after Cowon, iRiver announced their devices to be exhibited in IFA Berlin, Samsung steps ahead and shows its Q1 portable media player. Not so attractive like S9 Curve but this one’s not bad either. It has a 2.4-inch screen, diamond shaped touch sensitive buttons and will come in 4GB/8GB/16GB capacities. OGG and FLAC support has been added apart from the usual MP3/WMA and WMV video support along with MPEG-4. Audio playback time is expected to last for more than a day and might just be able to pull off couple of movies provided the runtime don’t exceed more than 4 hours.
Official spec list, price and availability will be out soon.
