Pioneer Kuro Home Cinema range launched
Pioneer has announced it is expanding its home cinema range with three new home entertainment systems.
The new models, will become part of its KURO range and build on last year’s LX01. The new models; the LX01BD and LX03BD are Pioneer’s first home cinema systems to include a Blu-ray player, while the LX03 incorporates a DVD player.
The LX03 and LX03BD will, to fit in with the KURO range will feature a black/brushed aluminium front and top panel. It will also feature intelligent touch sensor buttons that are automatically lit by a motion sensor whenever a hand approaches very much like LG’s mobile phones. The LX01BD benefits from an intuitive LCD touch screen remote and a separate display.
However disappointingly the LX01BD will only includes Blu-ray profile 1.1. It will however support BonusView, 1080p true 24 movie frames per second playback, 12-bit HDMI Deep Colour support, a dual-drive subwoofer receiver and four distinctive 3-dimensional shaped satellite speakers.
