Olympus’ New Waterproof Stylus Model: 1030 SW

Olympus has announced the arrival of the newest waterproof stylus cameras, the stylus 1030 SW. It features 10.1-megapixel, 3.6X optical 28-102mm f/3.5-5.0 zoom lens and 2.7-inch HyperCrystal II LCD screen. It includes multiple underwater scene modes as well as scene modes for use in snow and beach conditions. It can withstand a drop from 6.6 feet and withstand up to 220 pounds of pressure. Olympus Stylus 1030 SW will be available in March for about $400.

Excellent camera!…have put the predecessor, the 770SW through 2 years of torture and it never stops. Now have picked up this, the 1030SW…even better! It really is what Olympus says…waterproof, crushproof, and is an excellent camera photographically.
