Nokia’s cheap 1202 for the Indian market

Nokia quietly launched 1202 phone, an entry level phone targeted at the vast rural market in India. The success of Nokia in India is largely contributed by the sales of low cost entry level phones and the latest offering will make them to penetrate more with its cheap pricing. Expected to cost not more than Rs. 1500 ($32), 1202 has a long battery life, nine localized languages, flashlight and ‘loud MP3-grade ringtones. The phone will be available by October.
