LG GW620 Etna passes the FCC
LG’s first Android smartphone, the GW620 Etna, has recently been approved by the FCC – although, for the moment, without US 3G.
Of course, this doesn’t mean LG will launch the GW620 Stateside, but at least you know that, if you want to buy it overseas and use it in North America, you now have FCC’s approval for that.
Unlike other new Android phones (the Motorola Droid, for example), LG GW620 has a standard Android touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels. Its features also include a sliding QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, GPS, stereo FM radio, 5MP autofocus camera with video recording, and MicroSD card support.

At the moment, the LG GW620 is available only in Europe.
