Lenovo H210 desktop PC with auto-brightness control

Lenovo have added an entry-level desktop PC to their line-up, the H210, with Intel Core 2 Duo processors, up to 640GB of hard-drive capacity and up to 4GB of RAM.  The H210 has Lenovo BrightVision, a system which uses a small light-sensor fitted to your desktop monitor (which does not have to be a specific Lenovo display) and automatically adjusts brightness depending on user proximity and ambient light conditions.

The H210 also supports VeriFace facial recognition, to streamline the log-in procedure by using an individual’s face rather than requiring a password or fingerprint scan.  On the front panel there is a multiformat card reader compatible with sixteen different types of memory card, as well as two USB ports; there are another six USB ports around the back.  There’s also a DVD burner.

Like the Lenovo ThinkPad laptop range, the H210 comes with the company’s Rescue System, that can diagnoze crash causes and restore the HDD as necessary.  A separate partition is used to store essential files.

The Lenovo H210 is available to order now, priced from $399 without a monitor.
