Lenovo considering a netbook product
It looks like Lenovo is feeling a little left out when it comes to the netbooks market. The company is reportedly planning to enter the netbooks market with their own product by the end of September. Citing notebook ODM sources, DigiTimes is reporting that Compal Electronics, Wistron, and Pegatron Technology are “all possible candidates to manufacture the netbook for Lenovo.” In addition, Ken Wong who is the general manager at Lenovo Taiwan, confirmed that the company was considering launching a netbook product targeting both consumers and the business enterprise market. The more vendors the better of course so welcome to the party Lenovo.
