KT’s Samsung M8400 is a WiBro WCDMA Wi-Fi smartphone

KT and Samsung are getting ready to launch a new 3W handset called Samsung SPH-M8400. 3W means that the M8400 features WCDMA, Wi-Fi and WiBro (South Korea’s own version of WiMax).

The M8400 is Samsung’s second WiBro-enabled handset, after the SCH-M8300 model, and KT expects it to boost wireless Internet usage.

The new smartphone will allow users to make VoIP calls and, as you can see in the faulty rendering below, it has a touchscreen display and is based on Windows Mobile.
