Its official: LG KC550 is for real

Good news cellphone junkies. The budget-friendly 5-megapixel beauty LG KC550 has officially been confirmed by the company. The mid-level slider with a dedicated camera and video playback has a tri-band GSM without 3G, but it more than makes up for it by offering stupendous imaging functions like Schneider-Kreuznach autofocus lens with LED flash, ISO 800 and digital image stabilization that let you make the most of the 5-mp camera. Thanks to a fast processor, the LG KC550 offers lightening quick image previews and can even play DVD videos @ 30 fps and 720 x 480 resolution. Other lovely features include an integrated sensor which allows to you enjoy six preloaded “motion sensitive” games, QVGA display, Stereo Bluetooth and memory expandable via a microSD card. No word on pricing and release just yet, but this definitely is one of THE phones to look out for this summer.
