iPhone to hit Korean retail shelves on Nov 28

iPhone is ready to set its foot in the land of Samsung and LG from this week. KT, the second largest operator in South Korea will start selling the iPhone from Nov 28 (this Saturday). Interested users can pre-order now via its online store or 2,600 other KT authorized distributors. There will be three variants up for offer – 8GB iPhone 3G, 16GB iPhone 3GS and 32GB iPhone 3GS taking benefit of KT’s HSDPA network and features similar to the international version like 3MP camera, multi-touch UI, MMS etc. It will be available on a two-year contract with subsidized prices.
Meanwhile, it is being reported KT has already received 10k pre-orders for the iPhone this weekend while analysts predict to sell around 500,000 iPhones in South Korea.
