GRLmobile: The chicks now have their own mobile network

I simply cannot understand why gender discrimination should enter the world of such an innocent gadget like mobile phone but unfortunately, some marketing strategists believe that discrimination pays. Therefore, it was only expected that soon we would have something like GRLmobile – Australia’s mobile phone service 4 chicks. Feminists beg to differ but GRLmobile’s women only mobile network believes that ‘men are from Mars and women are from Venus’ and hence, two separate networks for the chicks and guys is the best solution to make cash pouring into the network’s kitty.
According to GRLmobile’s managing director Michele Hamdorf, women consider mobile devices as a fashion accessory and spend 10,000 words more than what guys spend talking on their phone. GRLmobile will cater to the needs of only women and will include other than its pre-paid service for women, T-shirts, hoodies, mini skirts with pocket phones, Swarovski-encrusted USB keys, iPod accessories, sunglasses, phone cases and even the Angelina Jolie-inspired gun holster garter belt for sale. Are the chicks thinking about joining this exclusive girls’ club?
