ZTC released the ZT598, a dual input phone with the touch display hiding behind the number pad, which flips open. Another strange but interesting feature are the 7 LEDs on both sides, which blink along with your music, attracting you like shiny bright consumer bait.
The ZT598 features a 2.8-inch display, 0.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, dual SIM slots, microSD slot and integrated music player and is available for $134. It also has a very moving message on it’s face, “Enjoy your life”. Maybe I don’t want to enjoy my life. Maybe, just maybe, I was enjoying my life, but don’t like to be told what to do. Maybe I only enjoy Life cereal. What’s it to ya?

It was only a matter of time. After the initial success of any Nintendo product there follows a plethora of neat and nauseating colors upchucked onto the market. That time is at hand once again. There’s still no official word from Nintendo on anything but white Wii-motes, but now there is a third-party option for those of you bored with the standard white.
One of the first companies to offer a third-party substitute for the Wii-mote is Snakebyte. They are calling them Riimotes. They appear to look very close to the authentic Wii-motes, with the button design styles a bit different. The first models will be available either in a glossy black or a bright purple. Bright purple? Yuck! Maybe if you are playing a My Little Pony game…They should assault your senses in early February.
One drawback. As of now they are $59, but I’m sure they will drop soon enough.

Winfly’s HDD-PMP-001 certainly isn’t the new poster child for PMPs, but it’s not half bad for a no-name device. Aside from being available in a plethora of colors including gold, black, blue, purple and orange, this unit also sports a 4-inch display, a 20GB hard drive, an FM tuner / recorder, USB 2.0 connectivity and a rechargeable Li-ion to boot. As for file support, you can count on it playing nice with DivX, AVI, VOB, MPEG1/3/4, XviD, MP3, WMA and JPG. Regrettably, there’s no mention of a price, but chances are a quick trip through Shanghai would clue you in real quick like.

While we’re sure some folks were just fine with WD’s glossy black 250GB Passport, the firm is looking out for those who like their external drives a bit more flashy. Western Digital is now offering up its quarter-terabyte Passport in vibrant green, glossy white and metallic red, but aside from the hues, everything else looks to be staying the same. No official word on price just yet, but it should line up pretty evenly with the black iteration already out.

Although we knew that Japan would be getting a new pair of pastel-ed Xbox 360 controllers, there’s good news for those camped out in America, too. Starting today, US consumers can snatch up each of the colored controllers for $49.99 apiece, which are indeed of the wireless variety. Thankfully, this blue looks a tad more masculine than the prior version we saw, and if you’re still in doubt, check out a few more angles after the jump.

Just in case Fujitsu’s colorful new line of LOOX U50XNs weren’t enough for ya, the outfit is also giving a vivid facelift to its LOOX T70XN. This ultraportable sports a 10.6-inch LED-backlit display, a 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo U7600 processor, up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, between 80GB and 100GB of hard drive space, and Intel’s GMA950 graphics set. Moreover, this bad boy can get up to 13.8-hours of battery life when hooked up with optional cells, and connectivity shouldn’t be an issue considering the built-in WiFi, Bluetooth, 56k modem, 4-pin FireWire, twin USB 2.0 sockets, multicard reader, and audio / in outs. This well-spec’d little machine can be had right now for around $2,650 depending on options, but it’s the nine color choices that are likely to give you the most pause when ordering.
