We’re used to seeing our share of iPod docks, but this borders on the ridiculous. Okay, it crosses the border screaming and begging not to be deported. I think it goes without saying that this device is designed to charge your iPod while you discharge your own product, commonly known as an iLog.
It does more then charge your iPod in an inappropriate location, though. It features two USB ports and not only dispenses precious paper, but while doing so, will soothe you with music through four high-performance, moisture-resistant speakers. “Easy-to-use controls allow for one-handed navigation.” One word…Ewww!
I’m amazed they took this project seriously enough to get it to market, but disappointed they didn’t go all out by calling it the iWipe. It will cost you $80.

Bust out your Doobie Brothers records and bring them back like Michael McDonald’s career. The Numark TTi Turntable comes with an integrated iPod dock, USB interface, a metal platter and pitch control. It rips your vinyl records directly to the iPod, or even to your PC or Mac. So take your whole collection and rip it, then you can save your records for something more useful, like chucking them at zombies. It’s set to drop Q2 for $450.

You have to admit - Griffin Technology certain knows how to create simple devices that meet a specific need. Case in point - the upcoming Griffin PowerDock. This lone charging dock is capable of charging up to four iPods or iPhones simultaneously. Yes, it’s the perfect device for the family of four who each have iPods or iPhones.
Actually Griffin will have two models available for the PowerDock - a two dock version which will sell for around $50 dollars and a four dock version which will go for $70 dollars. Both models will support the 30 pin dock connector. The four dock version will come out in April while the two dock version should hit the streets in June.

Today’s update for the iPhone will simultaneously be released for the iPod Touch, Apple announced at the Macworld Keynote, bringing the PMP’s feature-set more in line with that of the cellphone. Charged $20 for the upgrade, Touch owners will gain access to the Mail, Maps, Stocks, Notes and Weather apps from the iPhone, as well as the WiFi-assisted-GPS functionality announced today, together with WebClips bookmarks on the Springboard and the ability to customise multiple home-screens.

Sometimes being a Mac lover has its issues, for example having too many gadgets cluttering up your desk or counter top. I just have to worry about me, so I don’t have much of a problem. I couldn’t imagine having a full family of iPods lying about all the time.

The dock works for all iPods and the much sought after iPhone. The Griffin Powerdock can be ordered to accommodate either 2 or 4 iPods. Sadly, the Powerdocks aren’t out just yet. The two-dock version will ship in June and the four-dock in April.
Of course the release the big one first, so the impatient ones that only need the dual will feel the need to buy more gadgets to fill up the empty spots. The dual will be sold for $50 and the quad for $70.

Griffin has come up with a very handy PowerDock that will simplify the lives of those who have several iPods and iPhones in the house. (Or that crazy guy that has about 10 iPods and uses them all for some reason only he understands.) For now, it just charges the devices, but one can expect more functionality to be added down the road.
The Powerdock will be released in two models: a 4 slot version featured above for $70 in April, and a 2 slot model to come later for $50 in June.
This one is definitely a sign of the times. Sort of like the keychain holder by the door. I can easily see a busy family depositing their iPods in this dock when they get home and grabbing them on their way out again.
