Check out these fun Gameboy plush toys I came across in my recent Web travels. Featuring a whimsical, cartoony take on the classic hand-held gaming system, they’re the perfect gift for the Nintendo Fanboy or Fangirl in your life.

Created by Wisconsin crafter KungFuCowgirl, each of the squishy game systems has its own unique personality, thanks to the slight variations in each handmade Gameboy.

They measure in at just a wee-bit bigger than an original Gameboy and come in red, yellow, green, pink or teal. They cost just $14 bucks a piece (so why not buy a bunch?) You can find ‘em over on Etsy.

Who says arcade cabinets need to be made out of wood and metal? Why can’t they be soft and squishy? That’s what this crafter thought when she created this fun plush Pac-Man machine.

Created by Lady Harvatine, the stuffed arcade machine captures the spirit of some of my fondest arcade memories. Inspired by these most excellent papercraft arcade creations, she set off to create her own unique spin on the arcade classic. The centerpiece of the squishy system has to be the piece of retro Pac-Man fabric that a friend of hers scrounged up for the screen.

Affectionately known as “Pac-y”, the plush arcade machine has a stuffed joystick and two coin slots that actually will eat your coins (there’s a zipper in the back that lets you retrieve your money).
The machine is the first of the Lady’s “Harvacade” collection. I’m hoping for some Donkey Kong or Dig Dug next.

You don’t have to wait for the robot uprising in order to mount a robot head on your wall. Not any longer. Though I have had several plain wood plaques already hung and ready near my shotgun. That way, when the day comes, I can just start taking heads and I will build a reputation throughout the wasteland. They will know that this human is not to be messed with. There are 11 different robotic animals like the one shown. Each robot has its own internal program which reacts with the outside environment thanks to its infrared sensor that makes the robots come to life and become aggressive towards anyone who comes near.
A viewer can stand in front and look at them and they are inactive, but the minute they come closer, the robots turn their heads in the viewer’s direction, their eyes light up, their mouths half-open they start growling.
No word on pricing yet, but ay robot who bursts into your home with the intent to kill you dead will have to think twice when it sees it’s kind mounted throughout the room. The robot will be stunned just long enough for me to fill it full of lead and add to my collection. This is our planet you metal bastard!

If the DS hasn’t managed to catch you in its deathly, irresistible, touch-sensitive grasp by now, Jam Sessions just might be the title that pulls it off. The “game” is basically a guitar simulator, and while you can play along with built-in songs if you so choose, the real power of Jam Sessions is in the improvisational aspects: you can pretty much play thing the like a guitar, and that’s where Ubisoft’s Performance Bundle comes in. You can pick up one of these First Act amp / Jam Sessions bundles in November (the game itself hits this month) and really crank the tunes — and finally annoy your neighbors in a way you’ve never quite managed with Guitar Hero.
