
Technologies are being developed right now that will one day replace the paper news dynamic completely. One such concept device is called the Ori-Ori Moshi-Moshi and it is basically origami. Some hope that it will offer the ultimate fold-up multi-media solution.
It was developed by Antenna Design, and they are calling it the “super gadget for the year 2014.” The concept device would have a flexible OLED screen with utilities for gaming, phone, and video viewing. As flexible displays get better, this will be the norm in no time.

Toshiba has been busy lately. The company has just launched a slew of new AMD-based Satellite laptops, and we’ve got the specs to prove it. First up on the block is the new P205D (pictured), a 17-inch desktop replacement, with its sights set on performance that doesn’t destroy your financial standing in the community. Here’s a rundown of the models:
- P205D-S7479: AMD Turion 64 X2 2.2GHz CPU, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 graphics chipset, 802.11/a/g/n, up to 4GB of RAM, 250GB hard drive, 17-inch 1440 x 990 display, Harman Kardon speakers, $1349.99
- P205D-S7438: AMD Athlon 64 X2 1.9GHz CPU, ATI Radeon Xpress X1200M graphics chipset, 802.11b/g, up to 4GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, 17-inch 1440 x 990 display, $849.99
Additionally, the company has created an expansion of the A215 series, 15.4-inch laptops which include the following configurations:
- A215-S7472: AMD Turion 64 X2 2.2GHz CPU, 802.11a/g/n, up to 4GB of RAM, 250GB hard drive, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 GPU, embedded webcam, fingerprint reader, $1,199.99
- A215-S7437: AMD Turion 64 X2 1.9GHz CPU, 802.11b/g, up to 4GB of RAM, 200GB hard drive, ATI Radeon X1200 GPU, $899.99
- A215-S7407: AMD Athlon 64 X2 1.8GHz CPU, 802.11b/g, up to 4GB of RAM, 80GB hard drive, ATI Radeon X1200 GPU, $649.99
All in all, pretty middle of the road stuff. Can’t say we’re surprised.
