Guinness Bottle Opener Cap makes getting drunk easy

Guinness Bottle Opener Cap makes getting drunk easyIt’s beginning to look a lot like a redneck Christmas…I mean how much do you have to drink during a typical day, to say to yourself, “I need that there hat!”. If you see nothing odd about this bottle opener hat, then chances are pretty good that you attend Nascar races while simultaneously courting your sister. In case it’s not obvious, the Guinness Bottle Opener Baseball Cap has a metal hook on the brim to tear off caps, and it’s officially licensed by the beer company and all.

The cap sells for $25, which isn’t too bad if you absolutely must have it. But you’re probably thinking that your teeth have done the job thus far, and they can probably open another couple hundred beers. Cuz that $25 should really go toward brew.

sonic, tails and amy rose hats for true sega fanatics

Just because Halloween is over doesn’t mean that you have to stop dressing like your favorite video game characters, does it?

Crafter BeBeBunBunBits (nope, I didn’t make that up) made these whimsical hats based on Sonic the Hedgehog and his video game pals, Tails and Amy Rose. But for some reason, Dr. Robotnik didn’t make it into the collection.

Each hat was handmade from colorful fleece, with gigantic googly machine-embroidered eyeballs.

You can find all three hats over at BeBeBunBunBits’s Etsy shop for about $25 each.

Sure, I might have found these hats a couple of days late for trick-or-treating, but you could still could draw plenty of stares walking into the office next week wearing one of these on your head. Me, I’m sticking with my Pac-Man headgear for now.

terrorize the mario in your life with this knitted goomba hat

Mario and Luigi will run from you in fear when they see your sweet knitted Goomba beanie! And it’s perfect timing as I’m quite certain you’ve been waiting for just the right accessory to show your Goomba love.

Knitter extraordinaire FadeCrazy whipped up this cozy and cranky cranium covering and shared the pattern. I think this is just perfect if you’re the type of kind-hearted guy who finds himself thinking, “dang, Mario, what did those grumpy evil mushrooms ever do to you?”

Oh. Right. They kill you. OK, never mind.

At any rate, if you know how to knit, you can get the deets on FadeCrazy’s awesome custom pattern right here.

iLogic Sound Hat with headphones built-in

iLogic Sound Hat with headphones built-inThe iLogic Sound Hat actually lives up to it’s name by being fairly logical. It eliminates the need for headphones or earbuds, with the added benefit of keeping you warm and in style if your style is a plain beanie hat with a fake equalizer on it.

The speakers fit snugly over your ears and it’s lined with comfortable fleece. Just put it on and connect it to your iPod or mp3 player. Forget hassling with earbuds and carrying around headphones. Plus, others still won’t be able to hear whatever it is you listen to.

clone trooper voice changing helmet: send in the clones

With the new Clone Wars animated film hitting theaters next week, why not show up to the premiere in style? This new helmet not only makes you look like a Clone Trooper, it lets you sound like one too.

Just slip the helmet over your head, switch it on, and it makes your voice sound like that static-y radio chatter that you hear when Clones talk to each other. And if you’re at a loss for words, press another button and the helmet will speak on your behalf - with phrases like “Get ready to turn those clankers into scrap metal,” and “I’ve got a bad feeling about this, sir”.

While you’d think the helmet was something for the kids, it’s adjustable to fit head sizes from age 5 through adult.

You can find the helmets over on Amazon for about $29 (USD). Why not buy a dozen, and show up to the movie with you and 11 of your closest genetically engineered friends in tow?

pac-man ghost hats gobble heads, not dots

I can’t decide if these Pac-Man skull caps are awesome or just weird. Let’s just go with awesomely weird. The colorful ghosts of video games past make yet another appearance, this time as crocheted hats.

Pac-Man Clyde Hat

Crafter ShadowsInTheNyte hand knits these goofy ghost hats to look like familiar video game characters. While I could only find Inky, Pinky and Clyde (where’s Blinky?), there’s also a Bob-Omb (Super Mario Bros.) and Moogle (Final Fantasy) hat available in her Etsy shop.

pac-man ghost knit hats

While they do look very much like their video game counterparts, I can’t help but think that I’d look like Dumb Donald from the old Fat Albert cartoons if I wore one.

See what I mean?

ya gotta believe in this parappa chapeau

Parappa the Rapper has got to be one of the greatest rhythm matching games of all time. From its whimsical 2D cartoon character designs to its hysterical lyrics, it’s a true classic. Now you can pay homage to the paper-thin Parappa by donning the same hat that the eponymous paper-thin dog wore in the game.

Parappa the Rapper Hat

Handcrafted by worthysoycandles, the bright orange crocheted skullcap is a perfect match to Parappa’s original, complete with the goofy green frog. The hat is the perfect accessory for those all-night Guitar Hero III and Rock Band jam sessions. After all, most of today’s music games owe at least a little nod to the square-headed rapping canine.

But you’d better kick-punch-chop-block your way on over to Etsy if you want to cover your noggin with this cap. There’s no telling when she’ll crochet another one.
