Check out these awesome Super Mario Bros. high-top sneakers! Each one is precisely handpainted by Rachelle Williams of ParadoxArtistry, and covered with imagery of all of your favorite Super Mario characters.

The left shoe is covered with goodies like the question mark block, a “POW” box, 1-up and other mushrooms and of course, Mario himself. On the right shoe, you’ll find all the baddies – Goomba, Chain Chomp, Bob-omb, Piranha Plant and Boo, among others.

At $160 smackeroos a pair, they’re not cheap, but think about how much two original paintings and a pair of high-tops would cost you and then it doesn’t seem that bad. While the pair shown above is a Men’s size 11, Rachelle will happily make you a pair in any size.
Check out her complete selection of handmade video game goodies over at ParadoxArtistry’s Etsy shop.

This (somewhat creepy) 3D anime lass is actually hiding a nefarious secret- behind her back lurks a dastardly PC mod!

Um, wow, I guess if you’re really lonely and have a lot of time on your hands this is a good idea. This is a handmade mod, by Katsuya Matsumura, and she’s made from styrofoam and painted by hand. I have to give full props for doing an extremely professional job.

For some reason it’s called ERN006 which is a decidely un-titillating moniker for such a hot-bodded mod. Even if you don’t read Japanese, you can see how he did it by viewing a startling number of photos documenting the process of turning a block of styrofoam into a lady-love, er, casemod.

I mean it’s not the least bit weird or pervy to spend this kind of time and energy on a project of this nature, right? Oh hey, it turns out my fingers were crossed while I was typing that last sentence.

Now you can geek out with Guitar Hero or Rock Band even more than you already do - by getting your guitar controller custom-painted to your liking!

Question: How envious/impressed would all of your friends be if you busted out a personalized guitar controller on game night? Answer: Extremely.

Etsy’s BlackStar Designs will gussy up your guitar controller however you like- with themes like video games, bands, sports logos, or whatever else you can think of. The custom paint job either costs $30 or $50; it’s unclear from the order page which it is because both prices are mentioned. Even for fifty bucks, I’m tempted, because I can only imagine that a custom controller would simultaneously intimidate my adversaries while imbuing me with additional Rock Band prowess and panache.
