The Hacked USB flash drive holds 2GB of storage space and makes it look like you or somebody else ripped your USB cable in half. Great for practical jokers and those who like accessories that look like they belong in the trash. Imagine all the reactions you’ll get from strangers. More then likely some well meaning but not too smart person will approach you and let you know that your “little doohickey is broken”.

Motorola is now officially promoting porn. It’s either that or their web site has been hacked. I’m saying this because while reading Motorola’s press release about a £10,000 film making contest for Moto Z10 slider phone, I was surprised to find out that the first link to Motorola’s UK web site actually goes to a spam site.
And not just any other spam site, but a spam porn site. It’s actually called xxxxxxxxxxxx.com, which even at first glance gives you quite a clear picture as to what you can find inside its pages.
The link that I’m referring to is the link with the anchor text www.hellomoto.co.uk. It’s the last thing to be found on the sixth paragraph on the page, and is prefixed with the words “For more details, check out…” under the “MOTO Z10 Competition” header
Clicking on the link brings you to a page with links to sources of porn on the Internet, and while I can’t say for sure how much damage this will do to your computer (if any), this is obviously not supposed to be the case, because really, when was the last time you read a company press release that contained a link to a porno site? Well?
The reason behind this can easily be seen by viewing the source code of the sorry web page. The link to Moto’s UK web site has been tampered with, and changed into something that goes to xxxxxxxxxx.com in all its glory. Here’s a screenshot of the web page source code.
So it seems that someone who had access to the web page’s source code altered the link so that it goes to the porno site instead of Moto’s UK web site. If so then there are two possibilities: 1) that one of the Moto PR site web masters decided to play a trick on the ailing phone manufacturer by linking their Z10 PR page to that porn site; or 2) a hacker gained access to it by himself and modified the code from the outside (if that’s even possible).
But the fact remains, Moto’s Z10 press release page contains a link to a porn site. Do I really need to say more?

Just months ago, the Consumer Complaints Board in Denmark announced that it had “proven” that the logic board within a slew of Apple’s iBook G4s were faulty, and now it seems that Cupertino has been forced to cough up reparations. According to InfoWorld, a US-based Apple spokeswoman stated that it “disagreed with the DCCB’s findings based on its own investigation, and has a strong track record for customer satisfaction.” Apparently, the counter report that Apple assembled wasn’t enough to persuade the board that the swarm of customer complaints were unwarranted, and now Frederik Navne Boesgaard (of the CCB) has said that Apple “paid up” after conceding the point.
