This isn’t exactly high-tech, but it’s a strange enough gadget that I wanted to share it. It’s a waterproof radio for your shower that’s disguised as a shampoo bottle.
Sooo… what’s the rationale behind this product? The only thing I can think of is that it’s to prevent theft of your super awesome shower radio. But that doesn’t make sense because this thing looks really cheap. I mean, I have single bottles of real shampoo that probably cost more than a whole case of these things. Whatever the reason, this wins the prize for being the most pointless gadget I’ve come across lately. (OK, so realistically, maybe it’s a tie with the s’mores maker, but it’s definitely up there.)
The stats: it takes 3 AAA batteries and adds absolutely no value to your life or decor. It looks like it’s a wholesale item, so if you’d like to stock these in your (obviously somewhat craptastic) shop check out the deets on Alibaba.

Coffins have managed to creep out even the bravest in the business. But they somehow no longer seem to have that charm in them. These cool new designs of coffins have them themed based on some gadget or technological advance. There are coffins that look like iPhones and others that are themed based on operating systems like Microsoft Vista and games like Halo 3 and Grand Theft Auto 4. Well, this can be used for those gamers who end up spending hours before their gaming consoles and succumbing to death due to hunger, strain or whatever gamers use as suicide methods. As for tech buffs who leave this world without getting the gizmo they craved for the most, these will serve as practical last wishes. Death is mocked as well by the world of technology. What’s next? With things going this way we will have hearses with messages that read “Rest in iPhoneâ€.

I don’t know if this solar clip fan will affect my visibility or I’ll be mocked by passerby for wearing something unusual but atleast I’ll beat the scorching heat. This solar powered clip fan is from Brando and doesn’t cost much too. Just $10 to add to my solar gadget collection.
PS: I wish it had something to do away with the cap. How about a head sweat band with the fan clipped on it? Sweet!
