Seriamente, erano necessari i 50 centesimi realmente?

Never ever touch the screen of this ipod. The sides are cool room temperature, but the screen is intensely hot.
The image doesn’t move, it’s burned on so its not on the LCD. The LCD doesn’t even turn on. However the sound does work, and occasionally (ussually when someone is looking at it or talking about it, but it might be a coincidence)
The iPhone chuckles, loudly!
Steve Jobs just laughs at me. Over and over and over. I’ve had it for a day and it hasn’t run out of batteries. The sound still works. It laughs while I sleep. It laughs at me in the car. At work. Everywhere.
I was going to return it, but maybe someone is interested in this haunted piece of technology.

Batmobile Case mod on eBay

Batmobile Case mod on eBay
Kevin Core’s awesome Batmobile Case Mod that’s famous around the internet is now up for auction over at eBay. It’s a 1/6 scale Batmobile Tumbler with a desktop PC built inside.

The one of a kind case mod was even featured in Maximum PC magazine in January 2008 and features LED lighting, 7 hard drive activity leds, 3 of which are in the jet exhaust, 1 on each side and 2 in the front. Also has 10 white led headlights, stealth power switch and DVD eject buttons. It’s currently bid up to $227.50, which is a bargain for any Batman-crazy fan. It might even be cooler then the ‘66 Lego Batmobile.

ebay slot machines surprisingly don’t accept paypal

I was heading out for one of my occasional gambling binges this holiday weekend, when what did I see? It looks like online auction house eBay has gotten their very own slot machines.

eBay Slot Machines at Four Winds

By the time I managed to stumble my way over from the buffet line, the eBay slots were so busy that I didn’t even manage to donate my money to them.

eBay Slot Machines at Four Winds

From what I could tell, they’re those typical nickel slots with tons of perplexing jagged lines which must match up in order to pay the big bucks. Of course, unlike the real eBay, there’s no guarantee that the highest bidder will win anything.

eBay Slot Machine by IGT

The machines have icons for popular auction categories such as electronics, motors, collectibles and fashion, but they only take (and occasionally dole out) cold hard cash. And while there won’t be any money showing up in your PayPal account, all of the players on the system can win a free spin at the same time, so I guess that’s better than nothing.

Wanna play the eBay slot machines in person? Head on over to the oh-so-addictive new Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, MI (just over an hour East of Chicago).

Illegal T-Mobile Shadow II auctioned off on eBay

Asmita:

I’m not quite sure whether this bit about a beta test version of the T-Mobile Shadow II being auctioned off on eBay for $499.99 is just a nice little publicity gimmick by the company or a fake phone being sold off by a real prankster for a quick buck. But I can certainly tell you that if you didn’t make it to the bid, you may have not lost out on a lot. Sure the phone has Windows Mobile 6.1, Wi-Fi, 2.0 mp camera with video recording, media player, 260MHz Processor, 128MB RAM, 256MB Flash Memory and 240×320 resolution LCD and WILL NOT be available in the market for months, but when you consider how this thing will send off alarm signals all over as soon as you try to operate it with any SIM card thanks to cellphone identification systems on mobile networks and how it might get you in a whole lot of trouble with the cops, I don’t think not having an illegal version of the phone really hurt you a lot in the long run!

Wooden nixie clock is totally tubular…dude

Wooden nixie clock is totally tubular…dude
I’m not going to make any wood jokes. No jokes about having your tubes tied either. I promise. We have a soft spot for these wood Nixie clocks. They just blend the modern with the old so nicely, you can’t help but fall in love with them. They just have style and they fit in anywhere you can think to put one.

You have to buy it as a kit and put it together yourself, but hey, that just gives you something to brag and be proud about when it’s finished. If you aren’t that handy and don’t think you can handle putting together it’s 115 parts, I guess you’ll just have to admire it from afar.

Xentex dual-screen folding laptop on eBay

If you’re looking for a laptop that nobody else will have - and that will interest everybody - ignore the MacBook Air, any Tablet PC or even Alienware’s super-strength gaming notebooks.  Instead, stick a bid in for this Xentex prototype currently up on eBay: at first glance it looks like it should be a mockup, but this is actually a real, working laptop, it just so happens to be one with a folding chassis and twin swivelling screens.  The screens are in fact two 13.3-inch panels, and they can be independently rotated so that people can view them from each side.

The specs aren’t exactly going to blow you away - an 850MHz Athlon processor and 128MB of RAM - and the seller has had a lot of trouble getting past the bios (he’s missing a hard-drive cable, and the Xentex didn’t recognise his external CD drive).  There’s also some minor case damage.  However you do get a floppy drive, which you don’t often find (or, admittedly, need) on today’s notebooks.

Measuring 19.5-inches across, this isn’t small, and nor is it thin when you fold it up.  Right now, considering the rarity, it’s actually a bit of a bargain.  Opening bids kicked off at $100, and as of writing it’s reached $575 (after 18 bids).

Xentex laptop knows when to fold em

Xentex laptop knows when to fold em
Much like Kenny Rogers, the Xentex laptop knows when to fold em. It knows when to walk away and when to run. It wasn’t satisfied with simply opening and closing. Oh no. It can fold twice for portability. That means that the system has two 13.3″ screens that can independently swivel so you can share your stuff with your friends sitting opposite you.

Together, the screens combine to measure 19.5″ across for a huge display. Inside it’s got an 850MHz Athlon processor and 128MB of memory. It’s kind of like having a Rubik’s computer. It can be found on ebay and as of this writing it’s at $405.00 with 11 bids, 6 days to go.
