Nokia has, after a long delay launched their N-Gage service. The release, being called N-Gage First Access sounds to us a lot like a glorified beta testing group, but if you are one of the lucky few, you can still get excited. The service is currently available just to those with an N81. Once you have the First Access installed you will be able to download and test games as well as buy them and continue to play. In addition to the games Nokia also hopes you will take part in the development, so when something goes wrong you can provide them with feedback. Honestly we have no reason to think you will have issues, but with all the initial delays in getting the service launched, they just seem inevitable. Of course like anything else, someone has found a ‘work around’ to the N81 only limitation, if you have another recent N Series device and are feeling lucky you can check out Symbian-Guru for some more details.

Sony Ericsson K630 is the latest addition to SE Cybershot cameraphone line-up.
Targeted to the mid to the low end cameraphone market segment, SE K630i keeps the usual good looks of the latest Sony Ericsson handsets and comes with 3.6 Mbps HSDPA connectivity option.

However the looks and this turbo 3G capability is about the only feature to distinguish Sony Ericsson K630 Cybershot from other camera phones.

Now that Sony Ericsson K850i starts shipping at least in Europe, it’s time to look into what’s next in the imaging phone category from the Swedish/Japanese phone maker.
We already have some indications that a new SE Cybershot phone with 3x optical zoom is coming. And now, it looks like we have a confirmation.
If this screenshot is true, we will be seeing Sony Ericsson K870i Cybershot phone with 3x optical zoom on a 5 megapixel camera next.

And the optical zoom is not the only cool thing about SE K870i Cybershot.
According to the source Sony Ericsson K870i will come equipped with HSUPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 2.4″ QVGA TFT display, Xenon Flash, VGA quality video recording at up to 120 FPS and built-in GPS sensor to boot.

The camera in Sony Ericsson K850i Cyber-Shot phone is almost as good as in many lower end digital cameras. There is only one thing missing that would have made SE K850i into a real digital camera replacement - optical zoom.
I guess with 5mpx Nokia N95, iPhone and other cool phone onslaught, Sony Ericsson just did not have enough time to make optical zoom work in current generation Cybershot flagship.
But don’t worry, looks like optical zoom is coming to the next generation SE Cyber-Shot. At least that’s what Chinese site iphone.com.cn, which managed to get some on some next gen Cyber-Shot phone chasis, is reporting:
