Move over Guitar Hero, Guitar Praise is here

Move over Guitar Hero, Guitar Praise is hereSo everyone and their dog are playing Guitar Hero, but what about your neighbor Ned Flanders? What with Rock and Roll being charged with sex, drugs and everything a good Christian could hate, it’s great for heathens, but what about little Rod and Todd? How is good old Reverend Lovejoy going to rock in his spare time and still be holier then thou?

Enter Guitar Praise, sure to be the boring-est, most goody two shoes, and holiest answer to Guitar Hero yet. I can’t confirm this, but I’m thinking you can unlock heroes from the 700 Club complete with polyester suit as well as big haired female pitchmen who will praise the lord, ask for donations and then rock your socks off with no suggestive or lewd content whatsoever. The game will be coming soon to Mac and PC for $100. It’s bundled with one wireless guitar, that surprisingly doesn’t sport a cross on the end and there’s a long list of exciting music from people you don’t know.

Dior phone costs a bomb

The problem with luxury brands are that they charge exorbitantly even if their product is below standard than its cheap counterpart. And this is true with the latest Dior phone which costs a whopping $5000 to own. The phone has a touchscreen display, camera and other nominal features one would expect. So what is so SPECIAL? Well, it’s the mini-phone called as MyDior Now that’s smart! But wait this is just a revamped Bluetooth headset.

InTouch Health’s RP-7 enables distance education for doctors

Filed under:

Thankfully, doctors aren’t actually be instructed en masse how to do their work by robotic teachers, but that’s not to say robots aren’t helping to facilitate the learning process. Recently, surgeons in Argentina were guided through a laparoscopic gastric sleeve procedure by a colleague some 5,400 miles away thanks to the InTouch Health RP-7 Remote Presence Robot. The five-foot, five-inch robot reportedly “displays the doctor’s face on a 15-inch screen and is guided by a joystick from a computerized ControlStation, emulating an on-site experience.” It’s even able to provide high quality, real-time audio / video with “complete mobility around the operating room.” Best of all, the patient in question was actually able to return home shortly after the procedure was complete, but heaven forbid one of these things ever turning on us humans and taking on a personality of its own.
