
Hardcore PC has designed “the Reactor” case mod that is actually a vat of cooling oil, where the entire motherboard and all its components submerged within it. I am sure this computer is silent because it has no cooling fans. The giant heatsink and cooper tube helps dissipate the heat from the hot spots on this computer including CPU. Here is Antec’s latest PC case that is touted as the “world’s first open air case.” Known as the Antec Open Air Skeleton PC Case, it comes with a unique design that allows the air to flow to decrease the system’s temperature. The PC case provides four drive bays, a layered tray design, seven expansion slots and some ports. There are also a big 250mm fan with a 92mm fan in the front. It may look like Nintendo Wii - but don’t let the look deceive you, it is actually just the casing. Some creative case-modder couldn’t leave Wii the way it is - while the Wii hardware taken out, the internal is actually replaced with PC Motherboard and components. The computer features 1.3GHz Celeron core, and has 512MB of RAM and packs a 40GB hard drive. It is also equipped with DVI video and USB ports. From the looks of it, the PC Wii may have to rely on external DVD drive - due to insufficient space. [Technabob]
