Kyocera and Boost Mobile today announced the availability of the Sanyo Mirro SCP3810. The Mirro is available through Boost retailers and online for $79.99 (excluding taxes).

Aptly named for its high-gloss, mirrored Platinum finish, the Mirro is ideal for the budget-conscious Boost Mobile customer who doesn’t want to sacrifice style or ease of use. The handset features a glow-through external caller ID in a classic flip form-factor, a 1.3 MP camera with digital zoom, instant messaging, Web access and is GPS and Bluetooth enabled.
“Kyocera is honored that Boost Mobile chose Mirro as its first CDMA handset to accompany its new monthly unlimited plan on the Sprint network,” said Tom Maguire, head of global marketing at Kyocera Communications Inc. “Kyocera’s line of Sanyo handsets has a very loyal following among users of Sprint’s nationwide network and we’re confident that Boost’s customers will enjoy the same superior combination of style and easy-to-use features.”

The phone meets military specification 810F and can be submerged in water (1m) for up to 30 minutes without being damaged.
Other features and specs include: CDMA 1700/2100 and 800/1900 EVDO connectivity, 2.2 inch internal display with 176 x 220 pixels, 1.6 inch external display with 120 x 160 pixels, GPS, Stereo Bluetooth, Music player, 2.5mm headset jack, MMS, email, 1.3MP camera, MicroSD card support and a 1140 mAh battery.

Motorola Quantico will be available in the US before the end of 2009. No word on its price.
Another Moto phone introduced today is the Motorola Debut i856w – which is actually a new version of the Debut i856, launched by Sprint and Boost Mobile earlier this year.

The Motorola Debut i856w is available through Boost Mobile and it’s targeted at the carrier’s female consumers. It costs $149.99 and, as you can see in the photos above, it features “stylish ivory coloring and flattering front and back detailing” – which make it the pretties iDEN phone ever.

Motorola’s line-up of iDEN phones will soon be expanded with the addition of i410, a clamshell that appears over at the FCC with Nextel’s logo on it.
The Motorola i410 has two displays (external and internal), large keys on the inside, and no photo camera. The phone obviously features push to talk, as well as MMS, Bluetooth and GPS.
According to a post at the Howard Forums, Boost Mobile should have launched the i410 in September – although that didn’t happen
Here’s what the phone looks like:

Details about the price of Motorola i410 are missing at the moment.

Exactly one month ago, when Motorola officially announced the Clutch i465, it didn’t say when the phone would be available.
Well, as of today, you can buy the phone from Boost Mobile, for only $129.99 – “with no contract, credit check or hidden fees.”
The Clutch i465 is a pretty weird phone, as is features iDEN capabilities and a full QWERTY keypad.
That’s why Motorola and Boost say that the i465 makes a “powerful combination” with the carrier’s Monthly Unlimited service ($50 per month).

The phone’s specs include:
- 128 x 160 pixels TFT display
- Unified Messaging, Threaded Messaging
- GPS
- Bluetooth
- Wireless Web
- VGA camera with video recording
For the moment, the Clutch i465 is available only online, but customers will soon be able to find it via various Boost Mobile retail locations too.

Details of Boost Mobile’s upcoming 2009 handset lineup have leaked, confirming that the carrier will be offering the “distinctive” Motorola i465 QWERTY messaging-phone. It’s one of at least four new devices, including a candybar, a clamshell and a slider form-factor, with several of the handsets looking to be supplied by Motorola.

Obviously all of the devices will support push-to-talk on the iDEN network, and Boost’s $50 unlimited subscription package - which offers inclusive talk, SMS, picture messaging, web access and PTT - will be available across the board. Existing devices in Boost’s current line-up will also see price reductions, such as the I290 which will fall to £39.99 on April 15th.
The new handsets include the Motorola i465, at $109.99 on June 15th; the Banfi, dropping August 2nd for $139.99; and the Mako, at $89.99, arriving October 1st. No specification details, but don’t expect anything too complex and you shouldn’t end up disappointed.
