T-Mobile USA has just announced a new pre-packaged contract solution called T-Mobile Complete.
T-Mobile Complete doesn’t require an annual contract agreement and allows customers to buy four phone models starting at $59.99, with the first month of data being free.
Two of the phones included by T-Mobile in the new offering are the BlackBerry Curve 8520 (available for $299.99) and the BlackBerry Pearl (available for $149.99). The other two handsets were not unveiled, but they’re probably not made buy RIM.

T-Mobile Complete should be available across the US through Best Buy and select Walmart locations.

If you’re a fan of Verizon you’ll be happy to know that the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 will be with the carrier soon. It’s the first clamshell BlackBerry, so it looks a little strange, but it’s a good solid phone that’s been available for a few months from other carriers.
We don’t have any word on pricing and availability. We do know that silver will be among the color choices. The release date should be very soon since test units have gone out.
It’s probably RIMs least desirable handset, but even so, should have no problem finding owners

Orange has just announced that it will become the first UK mobile operator to offer Pay As You Go BlackBerry Internet services.
Starting early February, the carrier will launch an indigo version of BlackBerry Pearl 8120 on PAYG.
The smartphone costs £145 ($207) and it’s an Orange-exclusive handset – at least in the UK. And, for only £5 per month, it will allow users to access email and browse the Web while on the go.

No word yet of there will be other BlackBerry smartphones to be offered on PAYG. But since the 8120 isn’t exactly the newest RIM-made device in town (think about the Flip 8220 or the Curve 8900), Orange might add other models too to the PAYG line-up.

The mobile version of Google Maps has been available for quite a while, but Google has decided to give it one of its most interesting features yet – voice search.
The brand new version, that includes the voice search capability, can only be installed on BlackBerry Pearl devices (namely, BlackBerry Pearl 8110, BlackBerry Pearl 8120, and BlackBerry Pearl 8130) and only by U.S. users. A little too much only-s, but everything must start somewhere…

These lucky users will get voice search integrated in their BlackBerry devices, which means they’re excused from typing their search query from now on. All they have to do is center the map around their location, press the left-side key and say what they want to search.
Google Maps for Mobile is a free application that can help you determine your exact location, get driving directions, whether you have a GPS connection or not. If you don’t, Google Maps for Mobile will figure out your position based on the location of the nearest GSM base stations.
Hopefully, we’ll see the voice search feature on some other mobile devices soon.
