Delta Introduces Full Hi-Def LED-based Projector

Delta Electronics have announced their first full HD LED-based DLP projector, and is showing demo unit during IFA and upcoming CEDIA. The projector will feature 1080p resolution, large color gamut, and 20,000 hours on the LED unit. It will utilize PhlatLight rather than metal halide bulbs, which Delta claims to be more robust with extended lifetime. No words on price and availability at present, but the company will reveal these information at CEDIA next week. [CrunchGear]
