Buffalo DriveStation HD-HXU3 USB HDD transfers up to 625MB/s

 

Buffalo has added a new external USB HDD to its vast portfolio. The DriveStation HD-HXU3 is the first from Buffalo to support SuperSpeed USB 3.0. With the integration of USB 3.0 a user can transfer content at speeds up to 625MB/s, pipping USB 2.0 and even FireWire standards. Of course you’ll need a USB 3.0 compatible interface card to attain such speed or will work as a regular USB 2.0 drive.

The drives are available now in capacities of 1/1.5/2TB options priced at $199.99, $249.99 and $399.99 respectively.
