Broken or scratched iPhone 3G screen? Replace it yourself!
Musical-ecstasy:

Long long time ago when I bought Nokia’s 7710 touchscreen phone, everyone was telling me how touchscreen phones can be easy victims to broken screens. Now, touchscreen is a craze (thanks to the iPhone and its hype), it’s fashion and somehow everyone has managed to forget about the brittleness of the screen with the launch of iPhone. Yea, I know that 7710’s screen is no comparison to iPhone’s touchface, but the risk remains. I mean, accidents do happen and even if you have managed to scratch the screen of your new 3G phone, you’d love to get it replaced.
Well, if you have got any experience with tweaking around with gadgets then you can replace the screen yourself (even little guts will do the trick). Finally, a touchscreen replacement (unofficially) for iPhone 3G is here. It costs $85 and with the help of special iPhone opening toolkit priced at $10.5.
