BlackBerry 8210/8220 Kickstart detailed on online retailer’s web site
As if we all badly needed reminding, RIM is indeed working on their first BlackBerry clamshell phone, which they are going to call the BlackBerry Kickstart, as evidenced by detailed product pages put up by e-tailer Expansys.
Apparently, there will be two variants of the BlackBerry Kickstart, which are the 8220 (WiFi) and the 8210 (GPS). Not the most economic set-up, but more choices for everybody means more fun, right?

According to the Expansys product pages, both the BlackBerry 8210 and 8220 will sport 2.6-inch 320 x 240 primary displays, 2 megapixel camera with LED flash and built-in microSDHC card slot. Then of course there’s that little thing called the SureType keyboard, as well as a body that’s unlike any other BlackBerry device out there.
Sadly, specs are about all that’s featured on Expansys’ web site, with release dates and official prices nowhere in sight. We’ll keep you posted once those things come up.
