The Dark Knight Xbox 360 Console - a console you’ll never get your hands on

The Dark Knight Xbox 360 Console

That my friends is a very limited edition The Dark Knight Xbox 360 console which was spotted in Taiwan recently. I’m not even sure why I bothered to post a picture of this system since there’s practically no chance that anyone will even get their hands on it since Microsoft made a super limited number of them. Heck - you’re better off modding your own Xbox 360 to look like that (or better of course).

TouchTable Sic Bo brings the casino to you

TouchTable Sic Bo brings the casino to you
If you like the excitement of the casino but don’t want to travel, then you’ll find the TouchTable Sic Bo pretty interesting. It’s essentially a large touchscreen table that plays games. Don’t worry about spilling your drink, since the table is even drink proof. Up to 4 players can get in on the game and the graphics are said to be very high-resolution. Another feature is a live dice shaker. And of course it will keep track of all the money that your friends have won and you have lost. Don’t be worried about it matching your decor as it is available in various attractive colors.

Doctor Who R/C Dalek exterminates with extreme shine

Doctor Who R/C Dalek exterminates with extreme shine
Check out this limited edition RC Dalek all polished and buffed to blind it’s enemies and make the Doctor stop and check his hair in it’s reflection. This particular Dalek is based on the “Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150 AD” movie. It’s 12-inches tall, radio-controlled and features a pullback motor with realistic Dalek action. I assume that means it yells “exterminate” and generally tries to kill anything different then itself. Also has a built-in speaker that plays you quotes from the movie.

This my friends is shiny Dalek bling for eager geek hands. And since it’s very special and ultra shiny, only 1,000 are made. Should be available in August 2008, and can be pre-ordered for $99.99.

Breathalyzer microphone

breathalyzermicrandy.jpg

My friend Randy at the fffffatlab made this breathalyzer microphone:

The breathalyzer microphone is a system for the inconscpicuous collection of blood-alcohol content level data sets. In other words, you can measure a person’s sobriety with a device, that for all intents and purposes, looks no different than a standard microphone.

He has also created full step-by-step instructions for the project. I can see it applied in addition to the regular microphone to weight your karaoke score based on how much you've had to drink.

Spice X-1 phone with dedicated gaming console

Spice X-1 phone with dedicated gaming console
Spice Mobiles Limited unveiled their latest for the market in India. The Spice X-1 is a gamers mobile phone with a dedicated gaming console. The phone sports a big 2.4 inch screen, 2-GB expandable memory card, and comes packed with pre-loaded games and a gaming console. Just what games come with it, I have no idea, but look, a motorcycle.

You can also play games without the console using the dedicated gaming keys on the handset. That’s not all that you get. It also includes a 2 MP camera, Yamaha-amplified 3-D surround sound, FM radio with record and play feature and Bluetooth. It retails for $210.

Motorola Sparrow concept checks you out

Motorola Sparrow concept checks you out
The idea behind the Motorola Sparrow is to provide retail stores with a mobile point of sale device that solves increased service demands from consumers and decentralizes the check out point, so you can get out as quick as you can.

It’s got a scanner, point of sale system, RFID, communication and credit card reading capabilities all in one mobile device. The front and back of the Sparrow are touch-sensitive for ease of use and navigation. This is a huge improvement of an old idea. It would be great to see in the retail world. It looks kinda sexy even.

Apple to stream your iTunes to your iPhone?

Apple to stream your iTunes to your iPhone?
Not sure how much we are willing to believe this, but AppleInsider has found a patent that apparently shows music over the internet streaming to your iPhone and iPod touch. You wouldn’t have to sync content to your device. Instead, you’d sync only the metadata and stream whatever you wanted direct from your computer. Like i said, we aren’t sure if we’re buying this just yet, but it’s interesting. My guess is that there may be just a smidgen of truth to this, but we’re missing some kind of important piece of info. While you’re waiting on this, get an iPhone arm.
