Yesterday I told you about the official launch of the Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta which is coming to smartphones and cellphones this July 15th and the launch of the Firefox Mobile which is due sometime in September. Well, today I found a video created by Aza Raskin, the user experience chief of Mozilla Labs which shows his vision of the Firefox browser operating on a mobile phone equipped with a touchscreen! Now that’s gotta be something. It was bit of a let down since it wasn’t all that different from what a normal key-pad based navigation would be. But then again it’s a firm step in the right direction and we wouldn’t want Firefox messing up things in their mobile debut. Savor the video after the jump and lemme know what you make of it. Im always looking for new fun and useful applications to add to my Nokia N95 so I was very happy to run across the Message Mirror Lite freeware application. The program offers users a simple solution for storing finding and hiding messages on your Symbian based devices.

Remember that VW bus that drives around on records? Yeah, this is kinda like that. This one can go wherever it wants, wandering like a train on a track made of vinyl records.
Yuri Suzuki and collaborator Yaroslav Tencer are quick to point out that the records they used are just cheap finds from used record shops, so don’t worry, nothing rare or priceless was sacrificed. They’re creative, not nuts. Imagine what you could do with this thing. You could have it zipping around every which way, in and out of other stuff while it makes it’s music. Check out the video below.
Soft fruits and vegetables with tough skin are difficult to peel. Use the Serrated Peeler to remove just the skin, leaving the delicious fruit for you to enjoy. The sharp, stainless steel serrated blade easily peels soft, waxy or slippery fruits and vegetables. Peel peaches and plums for pies and cobblers. Peel tomatoes for sauces and zucchini for gratins. Plus a removable cover keeps the blade protected and hands safe.

C’mon guys. We all love lightsabers, but there are limits to even your dorkiness right? Probably not. I can practically hear you just drooling over these trinkets and mouthing a firm OMG. Basically your DS stylus can now be replaced with Star Wars lightsabers. It will make it look like a tiny Jedi is attacking your touch screen.
They’re officially licensed and everything. And especially appropriate when playing Star Wars games. It should be noted that they are too big to fit in the DS stylus slot. But who cares, you’ll be too busy geeking it up. Get a 3-pack of the standard ones for $7.99, or you can splurge and spend $16.99 on a pair that actually light up with LED blades.
From the MAKE Flickr Pool: user fibra has refilled dental floss containers with soldering wire! Perfect for keeping your shop organized, but be sure not to mix it up with the one in the bathroom. For all the time it must take to wind this, I dare say there's a market for these things.

We’ve seen some pretty weird bikes that want to keep the family traveling together, ever since the price of gas has gone crazy. The crazy Electric Bike Train comes to mind.
Well, here’s another idea. The Zigo bike has apparently taken dad from the equation all together, opting to put mom either behind or on the thing, while the kid or kids are in the danger zone up front known as the ChildPod. The ChildPod can be removed and transformed into a stroller lightning quick, and the Zigo can be used as a standard 2-wheeled bicycle once you attach the front wheel. It’s $995 worth of parts swapping with kids in tow.
