Check out Nissan’s newest breakthrough concept, Pivo 2. A ball-shaped electric vehicle that can maneuver into tight parking spots without backing up and features a robotic bobblehead in the cabin that can detect the driver’s mood by analyzing changes in facial expressions. This three-seater vechicle is powered by advanced compact lithium-ion batteries with travel range about 78 miles on a single charge and featuring a unique rotating cabin - meaning no reverse gear required. Pivo 2 will be on display at the Nissan Ginza Gallery in Tokyo, for an exclusive public sneak preview ahead of the Motor Show. [Nissan]

Designed by Ryan Heiser, this tent called Respite not only functions as a tent but as a hammock as well. Perfect for those that want to relax after a long day of hiking. Not only that, switching the hammock to a from of a tent is surprisingly easy, just simply pull the four zippers down to the ground, that’s all it takes! Hopefully this design hits production soon. While this doesn’t really qualify as a techie gadget or a video game, I came across this quirky game and thought it was just too good to pass up.
Instead of knocking over some ordinary pins with this bowling game, you knock over a bunch of little plastic lawn gnomes. The set comes with 6 colorful plastic garden gnomes (10-inches tall each) and a couple of bright plastic bowling balls (one blue, one red) to knock ‘em down with.
While you could sneak around your block stealing your neighbors’ lawn ornaments and bowling them down with a regular bowling ball, this set lets you gnome bowl without breaking any laws. You can grab the set over on I Want One of Those for about $50.
