Boosted Announces New Mobile Lifestyle Headphones

GrenadeHeadphonesBoo_20A3E2.jpg

After their artistic tin can speakers, Boosted is once again set to take the limelight with their new lineup of headphones for the spring. The three models are in a league of their own, be it the classic Stiloso, or the DJ style Grande and on-ear Pequeno headphones.

“We believe there is no one lifestyle driven headphone product that caters to the mobile devices we use in our everyday lives so we decided to make one that fills that need,” says Jeff Park, Director of Business Development. “The Boosted Headphones are an affordable solution that fills the gap in the marketplace without compromising quality, style and sound.”

Specifically designed for use with mobile phones, the Stiloso, Grande, and Pequeno are featured with a 2.5-mm jack and three interchangeable tips to connect with most mobile phones while not leaving MP3 players and DJ machines out of the loop. All headphones are uniquely conceived with their own distinct features; for example, the Grande over-the-ear headphones would be perfect for any responsible DJ with its ultra-soft ear padding on the swivel earcup with auto return for single-sided monitoring and beat matching.

Not to be forgotten is the Boosted x Grenade produced exclusively in collaboration with Danny Kass and Grenade that “look as good as your music sounds.” It is the latest brand to join the Boosted lineup designed by Danny Kass and the Grenade team.

YouTube Expands Mobile Service

YouTube has recently announced its mobile service expansion. Whereas only a few thousand YouTube clips are currently available to its mobile service users, YouTube aims to make millions of clips available. The oodles of clips will be made available for smartphones with streaming capabilities and 3G connections. A user-friendly interface is also being developed wherein users could rate video clips and share them with friends. Other than the expansion, the “YouTube for Mobile Program” is currently working on creating an application which would let users upload clips from their mobile phones. These applications will initially work on some Sony Ericsson and Nokia handsets. The YouTube mobile service is available in 16 countries aside from the USA and is available in 10 different languages.
